- Quote templates let you easily reuse information from past quotes.
- Include a CV/resume from your profile with one click.
- Upload a file from your computer such as an alternate CV/resume, sample translation, letter of recommendation, etc.
- WWA and Certified PRO status have been added to quotes to showcase qualifications.
Further improvements to the job posting system are planned, so now is a great time to share your feedback and suggestions. If you have any comments or questions about these new features, please reply to this topic. I used the form yesterday for the first time and was pleased to discover the CV link (although this first time I had already included the link in my letter!).
The Kudoz information which also appears looks a bit "disappointing", until I realised that this was only the last 3 months' figure - I presume this is made perfectly clear to the job offerer - perhaps it might be better to include All time figures?
Cheers

Hi Noni,
Your KudoZ points look correct to me. Why do you think they are only for the last 3 months?

Hi Jana,
Thanks for posting some feedback, it's much appreciated.

Thank Colin. But ...
I change my status from a member to a partial member. I found that I cannot quote in this new template in certain situations. The system says I need to pay to quote and it is not clear how my membership is restricted in this template. I switch back to the classical template (format) and quote successfully.
Does anyone have a similar restriction?

Hi Soonthon L.,
Thanks for posting. Job partial members should be able to quote on jobs without paying $1. I just tested and it looks like this is the case. Is there a particular job this is happening for?
Best,

Hello all, and sorry to intrude on this thread.

I run some tests in a few jobs, trying both the new and the old quote form formats, I am afraid I was not able to reproduce the problem you mention, Soonthon.
Would you mind submitting a support request and specifying at least one job for which you meet the criteria but in which you are asked for a $1.00 USD payment to submit your quote? This will certainly help support staff to look into this further and make sure you can all submit your quotes no matter the quote format you are using (new or old).
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,

Great job, Colin! | Aug 5, 2010 |
I tried it for the first time, and it's really much better than before.
FYI it does not work any more on my favorite Netscape 7.2. Yes, I know I shouldn't be using it, but Firefox/Thunderbird haven't yet developed to the reliability level Netscape had.
My suggestion

Thank Lucia for the quick response. I did not reproduce the problem as well. Now I use the quote system successfully. The repeating problems might came out of my weird Windows before its failure a week ago. Now I am happy with the updated quoting features.

Yes, this new system works out much better.
Nicer layout. And a long time expected improvement is the "save template" feature. This will save us time in the future. | | | Vipec Germany Local time: 21:03 German to Italian + ... I cannot upload my application | Aug 17, 2010 |
Hi,
I get always an error message by uploading my application.
Please note that I didn't exceed the maximum file size of the attachment.
