Question about tone of voice/delivery
Oct 28, 2015
Hi Konstantin, I really enjoyed your webinar "Advanced Train the Trainer". Thank you. I am new to public speaking and the points you made offer a good foundation to build on. There is one point in particular that I would like to work on which is my tone of voice. I understand that it is essential to be calm and to have one's own voice come through. Do you think that remaining calm/poised and confident is all that is needed to achieve a pleasant voice/tone/delivery? If more may be needed, c... See more

The one aspect of your voice that may need to be managed consciously, however, is the tempo - speaking too quickly is a very common problem for relatively new speakers and even if you're enjoying yourself, it can also happen. That's one thing to be aware of as you're speaking - make sure your tempo is average, i.e. not too fast
Your internal state is the main thing though! ▲ Collapse
