This webinar has been designed as an in-depth training course providing practical instructions how to work on diction and accent. The clearly outlined set of exercises and activities should help you identify the problem areas related to specific characteristics of your speech, such as articulation and clarity and help you improve the two most important aspects of speech providing clear and understandable speech - diction and accent. This webinar will provide some basic exercises that will help you acquire close-to-perfect diction and a neutral accent in English.
Description
What are accent and diction?
Accent stands for the way of pronouncing the words of a language showing which country, area or social class a person comes from. Accent may even be a tool of identification. An interpreter’s accent should be neutral.
Diction stands for the quality of the particular way of pronouncing words. In other words, the more clearly and expressively we speak, the better the quality of our speech.
Why is it important to know what accent and diction are?
Have you ever read a report or a speech and noticed that you barely opened your mouth?
Or did you mumble?
Did your audience complain about having to work hard to understand what you said?
If the answer is Yes!, this should be the right course for you.

Sorry to be a bit thick, but does:
"Even if you do not attend the online session you will still have unlimited access to the video recording and training materials within one working week after the session"
mean that the sessions will be available for an unlimited time (to those who have subscribed) starting from Feb 19th (at the latest) ?

Hi Anna,
The webinar will be recorded, therefore if you pay for the session and do not attend it, you will still have unlimited access to the video and the presentation used on the session. A certificate of attendance will still be issued for you. You can watch the video as many times as needed and when it is needed. You will be able to send your questions to the trainer if there are any.
Hope this helps.
My bests, Helen
