I really enjoyed the conference, I think you did a great job. Very little freezing or slowdowns, interesting conferences. I can't wait until you start offering them in other languages, it will be good for the profession. Thanks a lot! Barbara

I went several times "into" the Virtual Conference and I really liked it.
I chated, I attended interesting conferences.
Thanks for organizing it! | | | Niraja Nanjundan (X) Local time: 15:45 German to English
It's 2 a.m. in India and I just left the conference! Many thank to ProZ.com staff for organising this event and I hope it will be repeated at least once or twice a year.
I will post more feedback in the survey tomorrow.
Thanks again,

Thank you for all your efforts, an interesting experience indeed!
I didn't have a chance to attend many live conferences, but I will certainly hear them all in the coming days! | |

I set aside the day and attended in full, and I feel I must point out to some points:
The "refresh and reload page: Have been inactive for (I think) 30 minutes", should not happen -maybe this was due to overloading -there were an awful lot of people. But if this happens (strangely) more than once, and in some cases in a chat in some of the booths, it is pretty frustrating. Anyway, and taking into account that this was the first one ever), full marks.

Of course, I would expect the transcriptions for the conferences to be available on line, asap. This one is classical, even for the "in the flesh" events: You cannot attend everyone (and in this case I would have loved to do so)
Besides, to have representatives for the "exhibitors" more or less freely available (and much more than through "customer support, or whatever) has also been a boon. The level of some of them has also been impressive, and I did not expect so many big heads available on the chat.
The other problem was the chats themselves: I must confess that I see no solution to that, but when you have a chat with a sponsor's representative and there are eight or ten people at a time, matters can get a bit confusing, and delays unavoidable (and for the representatives themselves, who were outnumbered by the visitors, thus losing sight of a particular conversation at times, quite a bit annoying).
Repeating myself: Full marks for the event. These are minor hitches, but I think you would be interested in knowing about them. ▲ Collapse | | | Alicia Casal Argentina Local time: 07:15 English to Spanish + ... |
Very interesting presentations and a special feeling to know that so many translators were listening at the same time.
I am sure that future conferences will be even more interesting and interactive.
BTW, where is the survey?
Congratulations!

A great experience, beeing my first virtual conference.
I really enjoyed the interesting session "ProZ.com and the future of the translation industry" by Henry Dotterer.
Thanks and best regards

Thank you all for organizing such a great ProZ.com virtual conference! It was fantastic from the beginning to the end! I enjoyed everything - most of all the interesting sessions, as well as the contacts I got, both freelancers as my self and outsourcers. As a speaker before me just said: You can be as proud as I am thankful.
Congratulations all!
