As promised, please find below points requiring discussion to allow us to prepare an accurate report. Discussing these point will ensure that the plant design will suit your requirements and budget. I will be happy to discuss the points on the phone later this evening.
1. Could you please confirm whether you want to build the detergents plant first or both plants at the same time?
We recommend a phased approach in two stages. The first stage is building the detergents plant and starting production. The second stage is building the sulphonation plant. This approach will mean that you do not spend your capital investment in one stage. It also allows you to build your team gradually. The disadvantage is that construction will take longer and that you will lose some possible savings during installation and construction. The alternative is building both plants together, which would require bigger investment upfront but would mean the overall plant is completed earlier.
2. Some local information is needed to allow us to reflect the cost of construction and production in Erbil.
a. The cost of the land: You will need a piece of land ranging (6000 to 8000 m2). It needs to be close to Transport links, Water and Electricity Supply. It would be ideal if you could coordinate with the local authority regarding the industrial license. What we need from you is an estimate for the price of land per donum (1000m2).
b. The cost of raw materials: we will need prices at given quantities, could you obtain these prices or you want us to give you international prices? For instance could you obtain the prices of Sulphur and LAB in Iraq?
3. More details are needed about the desired product.
We need to prepare the specification of the product. It would be useful if you could give us the specifications of the product you are importing now and how you want your product in comparison with what you are importing?
