Source text - English Somebody asked for the cigars. We had been talking for a long time and the conversation was beginning to languish. Unless someone said something interesting, the meeting would soon come to an end, and we, the guests, would go home to bed.
Nobody had said anything remarkable. Jones had told us about his hunting trip to Yorkshire, Mr Tompkins, of Boston , had given us a long explanation of how the Santa Fe Railroad was run, and Signor Tombola had tried to convince us that the recent unity of his country would end in political chaos.
Translation - Spanish Alguien preguntó por los puros.

Bio
I have lived in different countries since I can remember: Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, India and, currently, Mexico. I have a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and postgraduate studies in Marketing. I have worked for top-notch international advertising agencies, both in Peru and Argentina, and also for important mass media corporations, such as Azul Televisión (Channel 9) and AOL, once, the largest Internet enterprise in the world. I specialize in Account Services and Business Development. A couple years ago I started working as a Freelance Translator. I obtained a Simultaneous Interpreter and Translator Certification at Berlitz México, in order to extend my knowledge and improve my translation skills. My multicultural professional and personal background contributes at a great extent to my translation work.
I keep up to date with the technical advancements in translation aid tools. Curious by nature, I am a computer fan and enjoy learning about several topics. Besides my family, my deepest passion is to read… and read… and read some more.
