Source text - English It is a sad fact that the concept of totality, or holism, is poorly understood and not applied to dental health, although teeth are an integral part of the body and can powerfully influence its general condition. Rarely do physicians consider checking the teeth of the patient who presents with various problems, perhaps a tendency to infection, a weakness or some other malfunction of the metabolism that is difficult to diagnose. The reason for this omission is that teeth belong to a totally different area of medicine with which a physician is not concerned. It is a serious mistake to ignore teeth; worse still, it can become a terrible mistake to treat them incorrectly.Only a few years ago, the dental profession became aware of the problems caused by root canal treatment. This came about because George Meinig,former head of the Root Canal Society, was reading a book written some hundred years ago by Weston Price,69 and began to understand that it was a grave mistake to drill into root canals, try to clear them, refill the now empty space and assume that this has taken care of the problem. In his book, Dr. Price relates that he was asked to treat the tooth of a lady who was bedfast with RA throughout her body. He removed the previously root canal-filled offending tooth, cleaned and sterilized it and implanted it under the skin of a rabbit. In five days, the rabbit developed severe RA; in 10 days, the disease killed it. Meanwhile, the patient started to feel better, was able to get up, lost much of her pain and swelling and eventually recovered. Dr. Price was impressed by this development and decided to research it further. Whenever he removed a damaged tooth, he proceeded in the same way to sterilize and implant it under the skin of a rabbit. To his amazement, whatever disease the patient had suffered from showed up in the rabbit within five days and killed it in 10. This happened dozens, even hundreds, of times with teeth removed from patients suffering from kidney disease, heart disease and other problems. Dr. Price then carried out two more experiments. In one, he implanted a tooth lost by accident from a healthy person under the skin of a rabbit and noted that the rabbit remained healthy and eventually survived for 15 years.
Translation - Arabic انه لمن المحزن أن لا يعي البعض مفهوم " الشمولية" أو "الكلانية" ولا يستخدم في مجال صحة الأسنان على الرغم من كون الأسنان جزأ أساسيا من الجسم يؤثر بقوة على الحالة الصحية العامة. فنادرا ما يهتم الأطباء بفحص أسنان المرضى الذين يشكون من مشاكل عدة مثل العدوى المتكررة أو الضعف أو اضطرا بات الأيض التي يصعب تشخيصها. و يرجع التجاهل لهذا المفهوم في أن صحة الأسنان تنسب إلى فرع مختلف تماما من علوم الطب لا يهتم به باقي الأطباء.يعد تجاهل الأسنان خطأ فادحا و من الممكن أن يصبح خطأ رهيبا إذا ما عولجت الأسنان خطأ فقد أدرك أطباء الأسنان منذ سنوات قليلة المشاكل التي تسببها معالجة الأقنية الجذرية عندما كان جورج ماينج الرئيس الأسبق لجمعية معالجي الأقنية الجذرية يقرأ كتابا كتبه ويستون برايس, 69 منذ مائه عام، و عندها أدرك ماينج انه من الخطأ الجسيم أن يقوم الطبيب بثقب الأقنية الجذرية و محاولة تطهيرها و حشو الفراغ الناتج معتقدا أن هذا هو الحل الأمثل. و يروي دكتور برايس في كتابه انه عندما طلبت منه امرأة مصابة بروماتويد في جميع أجزاء جسمها معالجة سنها قام بإزالة حشو الجذر السابق للسن الميت ثم قام بتطهيره و تعقيمه و زرعه تحت جلد أرنب. و بعد خمسة أيام أصيب الأرنب بروماتويد شديد و مات بعد عشرة أيام في نفس الوقت الذي بدأت تشعر فيه المرآة بتحسن فقد كانت قادرة على النهوض و خف إحساسها بالألم والتورم إلى أن شفيت تماما. أذهلت هذه التطورات الدكتور برايس و دفعته إلى إكمال أبحاثه، فكلما أراد أن يخلع سنا عاطبا قام بتنفيذ نفس الخطوات السابقة فكان يعقم السن و يزرعه تحت جلد أرنب. ومما أثار دهشته أن أيا كان نوع المرض الذي يعانيه المريض فانه يظهر على الأرنب خلال خمسة أيام ويسبب موته في اليوم العاشر، وتكرر هذا السيناريو عشرات بل مئات المرات مع مرضى يعانون من أمراض الكلى و القلب و أمراض أخرى.وبعد ذلك قام دكتور برايس بتنفيذ تجربتين أخريين: فقام في الأولى بزراعة سن فقدها شخص معافى تحت جلد أرنب ولاحظ أن الأرنب ظل معافى وعاش لمدة خمسة عشرة عام ، وفى الثانية قام بأخذ سن من شخص مريض و عقمها بتعريضها لضغط بخار عند درجة حرارة 250 فهر نهيت (121 مئوية )، ولم يحدث اى تغير إذ أن الأرنب مات متأثرا بمرض هذا الشخص.

Source text - English Autism program rollout changed; Pentagon hears complaints from service families – 6745
The Pentagon on Thursday eased some concerns among military families worried that a new pilot program would interrupt treatment for their autistic children.
Some active-duty families had feared the 12-month program, which will begin Thursday to provide special behavioral treatment for autistic children, would be unwieldy for service members who change duty assignments. The program requires testing every six months.
For “any active-duty family member currently enrolled in the [extended care program], there is no change in their requirements on July 25. They can continue to get the same care under the same rules going forward,” Dr. Jonathan Woodson, assistant defense secretary for health affairs, said during a conference call with reporters.
“For all of the existing programs, there is no plan to implement more rigorous requirements during the next year,” Dr. Woodson said. “We are apologetic to the autism community because we know there has been some controversy over the issue.”
The pilot program focuses on an intensive therapy for autism called applied behavioral analysis, or “ABA” treatment. It was mandated by the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act in order to study how ABA can be made available to military family members under Tricare, the military’s health care system.
Military family advocates say the Pentagon previously had issued eligibility restrictions for all members receiving ABA under Tricare, including active-duty family members, but buckled under pressure.
“It seems that Tricare has rethought the policy that it had announced previously,” said Karen Driscoll, associate director for government affairs and military relations for Autism Speaks, an advocacy group. “We think this is a positive step in the right direction, and we applaud their decision to rethink this.”
Ms. Driscoll, a military spouse with an autistic child, said that requirements announced last month would have restricted care for children over 16 years old and required stringent testing every six months for anyone receiving ABA, not just those under the pilot program.
Dr. Woodson said there are some 8,500 active-duty family members and 3,600 others who receive autism treatment under Tricare. In 2012, about 6,000 were receiving ABA treatment, he said.
Dr. Melissa G. Schultz, a developmental and behavioral pediatrician at the Mayo Clinic, said ABA has been around since the 1980s and has shown to be effective in changing behavior and mannerisms of those diagnosed with autism over time.
“ABA is the most widely acceptable behavioral treatment that is known to shape autism’s trajectory,” Dr. Schultz said.

Roger felt some concern. He went and stood in front of Joe and said: 'This is a bit of a bloody waste of time, isn't it, Joe?' 'Out of the way, Roger, please.' Joe's tone held no menace. He might have been asking his opponent to leave him an unimpeded shot at a two-yard golf putt. 'Just move aside, will you?' 'This is going to cost you a few quid, Joe. As it is. Plus a lot of embarrassing explanation. I'd call it a day if I were you. I'm saying this as a friend.' 'The sooner you move aside the sooner I'll be through. This is my car and I can do what I like with it. Right now I want to beat it up some.' Pargeter came and stood at Roger's side. 'Why not give it a rest, Joe?' 'Look, I know you guys mean well but all you're doing is hold me up, do you understand? Just pipe down and let me get the job done. Won't take more than a minute or two
Translation - Arabic ثم يبدو (جو) في المشهد من جديد، حاملاً في يده ما يشبه القضيب المعدني. ثم يطوح به بإحكام صوب أقرب مصباحي السيارة إليه، لينبعث صوت انفجارمكتوم لا يوحي بأي تحطم زجاجي. ثم يتجه نحو المصباح الثاني قائلاً:
"لن يختلف الأمر كثيراً مع ذلك الآخر".
وهنا تسربت لمحة من القلق إلى نفس (روجر) فتحرك معترضاً بين (جو) وغايته معرباً:
"إنْ هذا إلا ضربٌ من مضيعة لعينة للوقت يا (جو)، أولا توافقني في ذلك؟"
فأجابه (جو) بنبرة غير متوعدة
"أفسح الطريق من فضلك يا (روجر)".
ربما لم يكن يشأ سوى أن يفسح له معترض سبيله طريقاً خالياُ لتسديد ضربته إلى هدفه الذي لم يكن يفصله عنه سوى ياردتين، فتابع قائلاً:
"فقط تنح جانباً، هل يمكنك؟"
وهنا أردف (روجر):
"من شأن ما تفعله أن يكلفك بضعة جنيهات يا (جو). وهو ما حدث بالفعل. وفوق ذلك سيكلفك الكثير من الحرج لتفسير الأمر. ولو أنني في مكانك لانصرفت الآن عن هذا الفعل. وأنا أقول لك هذا بصفتي صديق".
فرد (جو) قائلاً:
"سوف أنتهي ما إن تفسح لي الطريق، إنها عربتي وبوسعي أن أفعل ما يحلو لي بها. وأنا بحاجة لإيساعها بعضاً من الضرب".
وهنا يأتى (بارجيتر) ليقف بجوار (روجر) قائلاً:
"لم لا تتوقف عما تفعل يا (جو)؟"
فلم يكن من (جو) سوى أن يضيف:
اسمعاني جيداً، أنا أعرف أنكما تقصدان خيراً ، لكن المشكلة أن كل ما تقومان به لا يعدو كونه تعطيلي عما عزمت عليه. هل هذا مفهوم؟ فهلا توقفتما عن الحديث وتركتماني أنتهي مما أفعل؟ فلن يستغرق الأمر أكثر من دقيقة أو دقيقتين.
