My past experience includes simultaneous interpreting for English businessmen and American defence officials at negotiations with the Defence Ministries of Russia and Ukraine, Mayor of St. Petersburg, Russian banks.

1980-s: working for the Ministry of Defence. Translations, technical assignments for Navy Headquarters (electronic reconaissance).
3 years in Merchant Navy: all kinds of legal, financial and technical documents and correspondence. Worked as Financial manager for a shipping agency in Istanbul.
7 years in civil engineering and construction (1996-2003): negotiating contracts along FIDIC lines in Russia on behalf of European contractors. The work envolved technical and legal translations. Principal employer: "ATA Holding" (Turkey). Worked in St. Petersburg, Siberia and Istanbul.
Over 6 years working abroad for international companies including a major Turkish construction company and my own business in Brussels, Belgium.
Education: Degree in electronics from State Maritime Academy in St. Petersburg; Department of applied linguistics, St. Petersburg State University
Skills: software development, system administration and web design. Can work with most editing or CAD software under any operating system.
