Herber Sprachendienste from the North Rhine-Westphalian capital of Düsseldorf (Germany) has offered translation services since October 2003.
This one-man office, led by Jürgen Herber, translates out of the English, French, Spanish, and Dutch languages and solely into German, the mother tongue. With regard to contents, the areas mainly served (besides general texts) are information and communications technology (IT), law, business administration, and music.
Being a lone fighter, I do not act as a mediator for external translators but perform all my orders personally. This means that, of course, there is no chance of deploying all the languages or special fields in the world, as it may be common practice with agencies. Since a professional human translation requires understanding the contents of the source text, my languages and special fields used are limited to those I feel responsible for. It goes without saying that, for the sake of high-quality results, all my translations are painstakingly proofread as well.
So once you, the client, were satisfied with my services, you do know where you may expect consistent quality.
