Translation - English The Legislative Authority Calls for a Review of the Contract of "Newroz Tel" Company for Fiber Optic Cable.
Shafaaq News. On Monday, the Reconstruction and Services Committee of the Council of Representatives called on the national internet company to "reconsider" the contract it had signed with "Newroz Tel" Company for the extension of fiber optic cable, noting that the Company's profit share, which amounts to 74% contradicts with the decision of the Council of Ministers.
He explained that "there is a Cabinet decision which prohibits the implementation of such projects classified as infrastructure by civil companies, and that their implementation is assigned to ministries' companies," adding that "the decision of the Council of Ministers also provides that the share of profits of the state be the largest compared to the share of the Company because the state owns the land and the project."
