Hello!

I’m a native Finnish speaking translator and I have been living in Germany for eight years. I have studied translation at the University of Mainz in Germersheim, where I graduated (BA) in March 2004. Previous to my translation studies, I studied economics (BBA) at the University of Applied Sciences in Vaasa, Finland. The program in Vaasa focused on international trade and marketing.

From Februar 2005 till September 2008, I worked as a part-time freelance translator and since October 2008 I’m working full-time as a freelance translator.

I have translation experience in different kinds of marketing documents (company presentations, web pages, internal communications etc.) as well as documents in the fields of product support (end-user documentation, e-commerce, product brochures etc.) and IT (software documentation, user’s guides, web pages etc.)
