I am a professional Portuguese translator and interpreter born in Brazil and I have been working in the NZ in this field since 2003.
I am a member of the New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters (NZSTI). I completed a MPS (Honours) degree in Translation at The University of Auckland and I hold a Certificate in Translation Studies and Interpreting.
Currently studying towards a Masters of Legal Studies at The University of Auckland.
I provide translation services for several clients and translation agencies, and simultaneous (whispering), consecutive, liaison (ad hoc) interpretation services from English to Portuguese and vice-versa for the major government agencies, Language Line, law firms, businesses and private individuals, translation agencies and hospitals to name a few in New Zealand. I am also an approved translator for the NZ TRANSPORT AGENCY.
