A British freelance translator and editor with an academic and clinical background in nursing, I specialise in the
translation of medicine and the arts from Italian to English. With over twenty years’ professional translation
experience, excellent writing skills and superb research abilities, I focus on providing quality texts with flair and
precision, attention to detail and target register, attentive to meeting client needs and deadlines
I translate all types of medical, pharmaceutical and healthcare documentation.
I also have broad experience in translating the arts and the humanities.
I offer both translation and editing services.

Medicine, pharmaceutical and healthcare
I translate all types of medical, pharmaceutical and healthcare documentation, paying close attention to
terminology and target register, and using the appropriate templates where necessary.
I also edit texts written by non-native speakers of English to prepare them for publication.
In 2016 I contributed an article to the journal of EMWA (the European Medical Writers Association) on who
makes a better medical translator - physicians with language expertise or linguists specialising in medicine.

- Texts for over a hundred issues of the Marvel 3D Heroes series, produced by Centauria and Panini. Each issue
featured a single character from the Marvel Universe, and consisted of a figurine accompanied by a booklet
detailing their history, evolution and adventures
