Bio

My name is
Cristina Lorena Cordoba, I’m a freelance Certified English into Spanish
translator, and I also work with the Spanish into English and French into
Spanish combinations. I was born in Mexico City, where I worked for accounting
firms like PwC and Deloitte translating financial statements, service
proposals, tax inquiries, legal, marketing and human resources documents. I also gained
experience working as a translator for subtitling and voice-over purposes. I
have been living in Canada since 2003 offering translation, editing and
proofreading services. I received my English into Spanish certification in 2005
from the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO) and I’ve
been working since then translating a variety of materials, which range from cooking
manuals, official documents such as birth, marriage, divorce and death
certificates, as well as academic records and university degrees, surveys and
agreements, among others.
