Bio
Born in Spain, I showed a talent for languages as a young student, and my parents did their best to encourage me. A bit adventurous, I was always on the lookout for chances to travel and study abroad, which led me to spending a year in Switzerland during my Erasmus, six months in the Spanish Embassy in Sudan during the time of the referendum that saw the birth of South Sudan, and later on what will soon be 9 years in Malaysia, where I live now with my own family.
During my travels, I tried several fields, mainly PR and Marketing, Human Resources&Executive team of an F&B group, Customer Satisfaction in Agoda. At last, I moved into freelancing as a translator, which was my chosen field of study. Over the years, I now have my own company which I continue to develop through hard work and continuous curiosity. My main interests in the field at the moment are subtitling, literary translation, MTPE and localization. Any chance to tap on or develop new skills is a challenge accepted. I am currently nursing my first baby and there are no nurseries open during lockdown, so my minimum delay for assignments is 72h.
