NOTE: Special rates apply to translation agencies! After having attended Teacher's College in Utrecht (Netherlands) I emigrated to Australia. There I worked for General Motors for 14 years in the Production and Finance Departments. In the meantime, I completed a 4-year Personnel Administration (Management) course at the Sydney Technical College. After my 14-year stay in Australia I returned to The Netherlands. While combining jobs in finance (controlling) with studies at The Hague School for Language and Literature I graduated for High School teachership where the art of translation was emphasized. Since then I have done translation jobs on a professional and freelance basis - now for 40 years. This practice has given me extremely broad experience on the translation scene covering such fields as
Accounting | Finance (general) | Business/Commerce (general) | Law: Contract(s) | Economics | Education / Pedagogy | Environment & Ecology | Human Resources | Law (general and criminal) | Investment / Securities Personal documents: certificates, diplomas, etc.

For many years I have been a sworn translator, especially to the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service. Within this framework I also completed a course in International Law at the Open University Netherlands in April 2012.
My philosophical understanding of translation is that the dissemination of knowledge and the promotion of mutual, global understanding and prosperity are inevitably forstered by translation.
Due to my career in an English as well as Dutch environment I developed translation skills in both directions as a
native in both areas.

Advice: do your translations yourself by Google Translate. That is the cheapest option.
