Source text - English The main page is arranged according to the standard Windows format. At the top of the page is the title bar. Beneath the title bar is the menu bar. The menu bar displays the File, Edit, User, GoTo, Bookmarks, Options, and Help menu commands.
Below the menu bar is a series of command buttons for quick access to the Table of Contents, an alphabetical index (Index), the previous topics selected (History), the previous window selection (Go Back), and every word in your book (Search).
If you need to know what an icon's feature is, just hold your cursor over the icon to view a short help description of what the icon does.
The main page also displays a book-like image of the book or document described in the title bar. It looks like and reads like a printed book with the following added enhancements:
Tabs
Extending from the right side of the book is a bank of tabs, one for each section or chapter in the book. Clicking on a tab takes you to the beginning of the chapter or section designated on the tab. Hold the cursor over the tab to view the pop-up text that explains where the tab jumps to.
Scroll bar
To scroll through a chapter one line at a time, click once on the up or down scroll arrows. Clicking and holding on arrows produces continuous scrolling, The PgUp and PgDn keys produce the same effect. To quickly advance to another section of the same chapter, click and drag the scroll box. The position of the scroll box indicates relative position in the chapter. Halfway down the bar, for example, indicates the chapter midpoint.
Browse arrows
The arrows in the lower right-hand side of the page serve the same function as the tabs. The right-pointing arrow will advance you one chapter. The left-pointing arrow will step you backward in the book one chapter at a time.
Bookmark editor
You can place a bookmark to quickly return to any point in your book. First, assign a user, and then click on the yellow "sticky note" icon at the bottom of the main page window to display the Define Bookmark dialog box. The dialog automatically fills in the bookmark name with the name of nearest book section heading. The chapter name will be highlighted. You may either substitute a name of your own by typing it in the text box, or accept the assigned name.
ABCD places a yellow, numbered bookmark at the top of the page you are reading when you click on the OK button. The number in the bookmark refers to the order in which you place the bookmarks in your book. To return to the page window, click on the Cancel button. To revisit a bookmarked page, simply click on the yellow bookmark at the top of the page.
To remove a bookmark, highlight the bookmark in the listing window in the Define Bookmark dialog and click on Delete.
ABCD automatically changes the bookmarks to show only those assigned to the current user.

Source text - English To remove pallet forks (where fitted)
Lift the spring-loaded catches (A) on top of each fork. Slide a fork (D) across to the central gap (B) in the carriage bottom rail (C). Pivot the fork which is in gap (B) away from the bottom rail and move fork to one side of the gap. Repeat with other fork. Tilt the carriage and lower it to the ground. Withdraw from the forks (D). To refit the forks, reverse the procedure.
ALWAYS slide forks away from yourself. Never pull forks into the demount position. It is recommended that pallet forks are either parked and secured away from a thoroughfare or laid flat on the ground for safe storage.
To fit an attachment to the carriage
To retract the quick release locking pins (E): Lift the latch (F) slightly to allow the release lever to be swung downwards.
Mechanism is spring loaded.
When fitted, the hydraulic locking pin system is operated by two joystick mounted switches. Ensure attachment locking pins are fully retracted into the carriage.
When attachments are added to the carriage, their own weight becomes part of the load. Only attachments designed or approved by ABCD can be used with this machine. Refer to the appropriate load chart for the attachments correct capacity and suitability. These charts must be understood and observed.
Check that the attachment is in good working order. Lower and tilt the carriage slightly forward (J) and drive the machine up to the attachment with the carriage (C) centrally aligned to the attachment mounting lugs (H). Lift and roll back the carriage until the bottom rail (K) fits snugly to the attachment.

Entering a new Time Frame record:
1. Click on the X button at the top left of the Access Configuration screen. The Time Frames screen is displayed.
2. Click on the X button. The cursor flashes in the Time Frame field, ready for you to enter a new Time Frame record.
3. Enter the name and data for the new Time Frame record as described in the section on “Entering data” below.
4. When you have entered the data for the new Time Frame record, save it by clicking on the X button. The new Time Frame is added to the list of Time Frames in the list box at the top left of the screen.
Entering data:
To enter data in a field, move the pointer to the field and click the mouse-button. If the field is a text field, the cursor will flash in the field. If the field is an option field, the list of options will open automatically and you can choose the option you want by clicking on it.
For each Time Frame record, you must enter a name for the Time Frame and from one to ten timezones.
Time Frame Name
• Type the name of the Time Frame in the Time Frame field. The name can be up to 20 characters long including spaces and should describe the period the Time Frame specifies.
Three examples are: All The Time, Weekdays, Evenings.

4. Cuando haya introducido los datos del nuevo registro de Franja Horaria, guárdelo pulsando el botón X. La nueva Franja Horaria se añade a la lista de éstas en el recuadro de lista de la parte superior de la pantalla.
Cómo introducir datos:
Si desea introducir datos en un campo deberá llevar el puntero hasta dicho campo y pulsar el botón del ratón. Si se trata de un campo de texto, el cursor parpadeará en el campo en cuestión. Si se trata de un campo de opción, la lista de opciones se abrirá automáticamente y podrá usted elegir la opción que desee pulsando en ella.
Por cada registro de Franja Horaria tiene usted que introducir un nombre para la Franja Horaria y de una a diez zonas horarias.
Nombre de la Franja Horaria:
• Escriba el nombre de la Franja Horaria en el campo Franja Horaria. El nombre puede tener hasta 20 caracteres de longitud, incluyendo espacios, y debe describir el periodo que la Franja Horaria especifica.
Tres ejemplos son: Todo el tiempo, Fines de semana, Tardes.

Source text - English 1. If the instrument is switched on then switch it off by pressing and holding the button.
2. Undo the two grill cover screws (5).
3. If a cartridge is already fitted then remove it by undoing the central screw.
4. Insert new cartridge into aperture as shown. Ensure that the point ‘’ is located correctly in the pump or moulding (depending on model).
5. Tighten up the central screw to secure in place.
6. Check the condition of the filter on the grill cover (3), and if necessary, replace it.
7. Replace the front cover, and retighten the two screws (5).
8. Switch the Impact on by pressing the button and check no faults are reported by the instrument.
9. The instrument will recognise the new cartridge and prompt the user to either accept the alarm levels printed on the cartridge calibration leaflet, or to continue to use those already in the instrument. If the mix of sensors in the new cartridge is different to the previous cartridge then the user must accept the alarm levels from the cartridge – otherwise a fault will be raised.
2.3 Charge for first use
A rechargeable battery pack or a dry-cell battery source can either power the ABCD. For the rechargeable battery it must be charged before first use, to replace any battery capacity used during transit and storage.
1. Ensure the basestation is connected to a suitable power source.
2. Place the instrument in the basestation.
3. Whilst charging the instrument will flash the red LEDs slowly. When charging is complete it will light the green LEDs constantly. A fully discharged battery will typically require 5 hours to recharge fully.

4. Introduzca el cartucho nuevo en la apertura, tal y como se muestra. Asegúrese de que el punto ‘’ está situado correctamente en la bomba o la moldura (dependiendo del modelo).
5. Apriete el tornillo central para asegurarlo en su lugar.
6. Compruebe la condición del filtro de la cubierta de la rejilla (3) y, si es necesario, recámbielo.
7. Vuelva a colocar la cubierta delantera y vuelva a apretar los dos tornillos (5).
8. Conecte el ABCD pulsando el botón y compruebe que el instrumento no muestre fallos.
9. El instrumento reconocerá el cartucho nuevo e instará al usuario a aceptar los niveles de alarma impresos en el folleto de calibración del cartucho o a continuar usando los que ya hay en el cartucho. Si la mezcla de sensores del cartucho nuevo es diferente a la del cartucho anterior el usuario debe aceptar los niveles de alarma para el cartucho – si no se producirá un fallo.
2.3 Carga para el primer uso
Para dar suministro al ABCD se puede usar una batería recargable o una batería de pila seca. La batería recargable debe cargarse antes del primer uso para recambiar la capacidad de cualquier batería usada durante el traslado y el almacenamiento.
1. Asegúrese de que el cargador esté conectado a una fuente de suministro adecuada.
2. Coloque el instrumento en el cargador.
3. Mientras el instrumento se esté cargando los LED rojos emitirán destellos lentos. Cuando la carga se haya completado los LED verdes se iluminarán constantemente. Una batería totalmente descargada tarda en cargarse totalmente normalmente 5 horas.
