I majored in English Language and Literature at Havana University. During college I was an English Language Teaching Assistant. I hold a language certificate from Havana's French Alliance where I completed four years of French. I worked at a tourist agency for eight years, and I got frequent assignments as a translator/ interpreter. I have worked as a Spanish teacher for a New York State School District for five years. I hold a Master´s Degree in Education.

Terminé la Licenciatura en Lengua y Literatura Inglesa en la Universidad de La Habana. Durante mis años universitarios fui alumno ayudante de Inglés. También hice cuatro años de Francés en la Alianza Francesa de La Habana. Trabajé en una agencia de turismo por ocho años y desarrollé diversas actividades como traductor-intérprete. Hace cinco años enseño Español para un Distrito Escolar del Estado de Nueva York. Obtuve una Maestria en Educación.
