Hello, there! My name is Luiza and I am a Brazilian/American EN-PT and PT-EN translator who has a big passion for languages and also the health field. I started learning English when I was 6 years old and have been learning it every day ever since. There's always a new word to add to our vocabularies!
With that, I have successfully passed the TOEFL iBT (proficiency) exam and consequently taught English for almost 2 years in Brazil.
I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (in Brazil - 2008) and an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Health Information Technology (USA - 2016).
I've been living in the US since 2011 and for almost 3 years I have worked in a hospital dealing with Medical Records of all kinds and for several departments.
And lastly, I have been raising both my children to be bilingual (successfully!) and at the same time preparing/updating myself every day with current methodologies, tools and techniques in professional translation work.
It is very nice to meet you!
And please feel free to contact me at tinettiluiza@gmail.com.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
