English to Japanese: Pre-procedure to use a device with cosmetics
Source text - English Sensitivity test
To prevent skin trouble, carry out a patch test in advance.
1. When you use a cosmetic product for the first time perform a patch test (skin test) and check your skin.
(1) Wash the inside of your arm with soap, and wipe it down with a towel.
(2) Apply the cosmetic to the area you have washed and leave it for 48 hours.
Apply a 10-yen-coin-sized light coating, and let it dry naturally.
Do not run water over or rub the patch-tested part.
CAUTION
If any abnormality occurs on the applied part, such as rash, reddening, itching, irritation, immediately stop testing and wash away.
(3) Check that there is no abnormality.
You can use the cosmetic if no abnormality occurs within 48 hours.
(4) If you find something unusual with your skin after patch test, do not use the cosmetic with this device.
2. Check your skin by testing if this device and your regular cosmetic go well together.
(1) Wash the inside of your arm with soap, and wipe it down with a towel.
(2) Place this device for about 10 seconds on the washed skin area by directions on the way to use of “”Step 2 Hot Moisturize” on page 16.
(3) You can use this device if there is nothing unusual with your skin after following the procedures in the patch test mentioned above.
