I am a young woman who has been interested in global topics and politics from a young age. I emigrated from Russia in 2003 and came to Germany, where I have been living ever since. I completed primary school, middle school and high school, all with excellent marks. During my school time I have particularly been interested in expanding my own knowledge and thinking outside of the box; this thinking is reflected in my interest in languages, particularly French and Korean, both languages that I have been autodidactically learning and improving. I am hard-working, ambitious and very focused, but I also enjoy working in teams, especially in international ones. I believe we learn through others, which is what I strive to do on a daily basis - getting to know other cultures, communicating with people from a different social and cultural background and seeing their views and standpoints on the world help me improve on my own mindset. In 2019, I received my high school diploma from Dresden International School. I took four subjects, instead of the required three, at the higher level, and completed the IB DP Programme with a total of 35 points. The Extended Essay, a mandatory 4000-word essay about a topic of our choice, I wrote in German Literature and received the best possible grade, an A, on it. Since September 2019, I have been enrolled at Sciences Po Paris and Keio University as a dual degree student. I anticipate to complete my undergraduate studies with two bachelor degrees from the respective universities. |
