During lunch today, students notified Madison High School Administrators that they witnessed another Madison student with what appeared to be a gun concealed on his person. We immediately notified Portland Police and they responded to help investigate. During lunch, the student was located and taken into custody on campus. Officers recovered a realistic replica handgun that was concealed on his person.

I am a Somali native speaker, a freelance translator with 8 years experience, who has vast translation experience in English to Somali and Somali to English. I graduated from Nairobi University with Bachelor’s degree in English and Literature. Having a secondary teaching certificate, I taught the English language for four years, exploring different linguistic contexts. As a teacher, I managed to produce best students at my school, in the region as well as the national level.
I also worked as a freelance translator with over 100 clients, dealing with different fields including: Education, Medicine, Legal, Business, Information Technology and general linguistic fields. Provision of high quality translation and delivery of work on time or before challenging deadlines are always my key priorities.
