Who am I?

I am a Dutch native and have been a corporate translator and project manager with Siemens for almost 3
decades in both Germany and The Netherlands (1989 - 2018). I translate from German and
English into Dutch, using modern tools such as MemoQ 9 and Trados Studio.

I have an excellent work ethic with ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task. I deliver accurate
work and I am able to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Confidentiality
is always ensured.

Subjects                                                                               

During my career at Siemens I have worked in multiple subject areas in electrical and electronic engineering,
such as power generation, industrial and buildings automation, medical technology, transport and railway technology and
communications technology (cordless, VoIP and corded).

I was also responsible for the management and maintenance of all translation memories and termbanks of the Siemens translation office in The Hague.
