Rabies is the most important vaccination for cats as it’s required by law in both Texas and Oklahoma. Just like with dog vaccinations, cats need to be vaccinated against Rabies once at 4 months, with a booster 12 months after the initial vaccination.
From that point on, cats need to be vaccinated against Rabies either yearly or tri-annually depending on which vaccination is used

La vacuna contra la rabia es la más importante para los gatos, pues es obligatoria, por ley, en Texas y Oklahoma. Al igual que con las vacunas de los perros, los gatos necesitan ser vacunados contra la rabia, por lo menos, una vez cada 4 meses, recibiendo un refuerzo 12 meses después de la vacuna inicial.
De aquí en adelante, el gato necesita ser vacunado contra la rabia, ya sea 1 vez al año, o 3 veces al año, dependiendo de cuál vacuna se use.
