I am a highly qualified teacher and translator with many years experience. As Head of German, I taught German from beginner level to Advanced for many years, including constantly working with my students on teaching the translation of topics relevant to young adults. For many years, I have also taught pupils with Moderate and Severe learning difficulties from the ages of 3 - 18. Since working part-time and now full-time as a freelance translator, I have translated a wide variety of texts from non-specialised to highly specialised. As an English national, I am able to translate most kinds of text from German to English. I find features on travel and tourism the most interesting and love literary translation and obviously know a lot about different types of education, yet am happy to accept offers on many varied fields. I am continuously developing my professional skills by attending CPD courses and workshops.
