Bio
Native Italian professional conference interpreter, translator, proofreader and editor based in Madrid. I translate from English and Spanish into Italian. I provide English <> Italian and Spanish <> Italian interpreting services.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting. My professional experience has always been linked to tourism and has developed in three different countries - Italy, Ireland, and Spain, where I currently reside-.
Before I became an independent language specialist, I worked for 10 years as an in-house translator, proofreader, database specialist and team leader in a leading travel services provider. I used to manage a big amount of data every day, which allowed me to develop an excellent attention to details and great error-spotting skills. Working in a multinational company has also helped me hone my teamwork skills and my capacity for goal achievement.
My current clients are translation agencies and companies of various sizes. The areas in which I specialize or have more experience working in are tourism, marketing, medical sciences, fashion, and e-commerce.
Being the communication bridge between two different worlds, cultures and languages has been my passion since I was a child.
I am a reliable, perseverant and optimistic professional. My commitment is to ensure that my clients' goals are achieved effectively through a successful and accurate linguistic service, based on empathy, trust and honesty. I love the feeling of knowing that my work has been of benefit to others.
