Bio
I am Sabrina. I was “born” as a chemist at
the beginning of my working life and I became a translator along the way. Why
from chemistry to languages? Chemistry and translation are not so different as
you may think. Rigorosity, continuous research, attention for details are just
a few of the things that chemistry taught me, “ingredients” you will find in my
translations. My chemical background is a big plus to work on the most
technical matters.
MEDICAL:
I regularly translate package leaflets, summary of product characteristics, clinical
trial protocols, informed consent forms, and related documents.
TECHNICAL:
Translation of European chemical legislation (REACH and GHS related), test
methods, cosmetics and detergents, perfumes, safety on work environment, waste regulations,
material safety data sheets, compressed gas association phrases, biocides and
pesticides, ecotoxicology, regulations from USA, Canada, China, Korea and other
countries relative to dangerous goods/hazardous substances.
Textiles and fabrics composition, components.
OTHER:
Magazine articles, short novels and comics.
Keywords: italian, science, chemistry; japanese, novels, comics, games
