A large proportion of patients with knee osteoarthritis end up undergoing prosthesis surgery. Previously used treatments including viscosupplementation with hyaluronic acid can help to delay this process and therefore suppose an economic impact in the short, medium and long term. The aim of this study was to estimate the budget impact analysis of the incorporation of viscosupplementation.
