Freelance translator since 1992.

Started working as a translator in Tokyo/Japan in 1992
1992-1995 patent translations (English-German), patent applications for Japanese companies
1995- relocating to Germany (working as a fulltime translator since then)
1995- started working with Trados Translators workbench and multiterm for Translingua projects
translated several thousand pages of patents, books, magazine articles (commercial, medical, scientific)

Also involved in German/English-Japanese and Japanese-German projects.
