I'm from São Paulo, Brazil. Prior to translation I used to work as a teacher, mostly with toddlers and kids. I started working as an in-house translator/proofreader in 2013, and later became a freelancer translator for some translation agencies in Brazil, mostly non-literary work.
I had the pleasure to work with Carolina Japiassu, a great friend and translator, in two books: a São Paulo travel guide and a medical book (Investigação de Desfechos de Dispositivos Diagnósticos e Terapêuticos).
Although I translate most subjects, most of my recent work has been with technical, agricultural, medical and pharmaceutical texts. I do not translate contracts and other Law-related materials.
You can also find me at Babelcube.
