20 years of translating movies and books, live translation for a news agency and for training courses in Psychology and Medicine. One of my books won a prize from the Romanian Academy for excellence in translation. I normally use my network to find work and lately due to Covid I came back on ProZ. Quality is of utmost importance for me and therefore I do not take many projects. I live in France and have 15 years of experience translating English to French and the other way around. Even if French is not my mother tongue, having lived there for the last 16 years teaching English and studying Psychology as well as living in a dual language family trained my brain into doing this simultaneous translation English-French all the time - one has to teach her kids to speak too... My main interest is in helping people through my work - either helping them understand each other or helping to get the message spread about new advances in Medicine or Science.
