Source text - Arabic GENERAL TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT FOR GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANTS
1. All appointments are subject to the Charter, Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations of the University for the time being in force and to any conditions prescribed by the Council at the time of appointment.
2. Graduate Teaching Assistants are students of the University of Hull and are paid a maintenance grant by the University. They are also employed to teach a limited number of hours, the stipend for which is specified in the formal letter of appointment. The stipend is paid monthly, in arrears, through a bank account by direct credit transfer.
3. It is a condition of all appointments to Graduate Teaching Assistant posts that the person appointed must register for a higher degree by research at the University of Hull. The appointment will be terminated if the Graduate Teaching Assistant withdraws from or fails to re-register for the higher degree.
4. Graduate Teaching Assistants are responsible to their Deans of Faculty for the performance of their duties.
5. Graduate Teaching Assistants are required to undertake up to a maximum of 180 hours teaching in a year and, in addition, are required to undertake the necessary preparation, assessment and marking of such teaching. They are required to take part in any relevant training programmes as required by the University.
6. Other paid work may not be undertaken without the prior approval of the University Council. Persons who wish to take on other work should apply to their Deans of Faculty in the first instance.

الشروط العامة لعمل الخريجين المعيدين
1- تخضع جميع التعينات لقوانين ولوائح وقرارات وأنظمة الجامعة المعمول بها حاليا، كما تخضع كذلك لأي شروط إضافية قد يفرضها مجلس الجامعة وقت التعيين.
2- تتكفل جامعة هال بصرف علاوة معيشية للطلبة الخريجين المعيدين بها، على أن تقتضي مهامهم الوظيفية التدريس لساعات محدودة ويتم تحديد الأجر المقابل في قرار التعيين الرسمي على أن يتم صرف هذا الاجر شهرياً في آخره، وذلك بالتحويل المباشر على الحساب البنكي.
3- يشترط للتعيين في وظيفة خريج معيد أن يقوم الشخص المعين بالتسجيل لدرجة علمية بحثية أعلى بجامعة هال. على أن يتم الغاء التعيين في حالة أنسحب الخريج المعيد أو فشل في التسجيل للدرجة العلمية الأعلى.
4- تقع على عاتق الخريجين المعيدين مسؤولية قيامهم بمهامهم وواجباتهم الوظيفية الموكلة إليهم وهم في ذلك مسؤولون أمام عميد الكلية.
5- يستلزم على الخريجين المعيدين التدريس لما مجموعه 180 ساعة تدريسية سنوياً على أكثر تقدير، بالإضافة الى ضرورة القيام بالمهام المصاحبة للتدريس من تحضير وتقييم ورصد للدرجات. كما أن عليهم المشاركة في أي برامج تدريبية ذات صلة وفق متطلبات الجامعة.
6- لا يسمح للخريج المعيد مزاولة أي عمل آخر يتلقى عليه أجراً الا بعد الحصول على موافقة مسبقة من مجلس الجامعة وعلى من يرغب القيام بأي عمل آخر فعليه تقديم طلبه الى عميد الكلية أولاً.

I am a legal and financial interpreter and translator. I am a native Arabic and French speaker. I live in the United Kingdom. I have worked in languages for the past 20 years. I started translating in the pharmaceutical industry, sales & marketing and the chemical industry then specialised in the legal and financial field. Although French and Arabic are my native languages, I consider English to be my first language.
I obtained my Doctorate in Arabic in 2005 and my MA in Translation and Interpreting (Arabic-English-Arabic) in 2000 in the United Kingdom. Prior to that I had completed my BA in Interpreting and Translation (Arabic-French-English) in 1998.
In 2010, I became a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists in the UK and in 2011.Then I became an associate member of the Institute of Interpreting and Translation. I also provide language consultancy and cultural awareness services.
Having worked for many years in the translation and interpreting business, my writing skills are superior with a very good and elegant command of all languages, with excellent grammar and spelling.
