LIFE SCIENCES
My high level academic background - PhD then post-doctorate position in UCL (London, UK) - informs my practice as a translator and proofreader, where I can offer strong organisational skills, adaptability and ability to work to deadline. This first-hand knowledge in Life Sciences means that I understand the subject material quickly and intuitively. I have also used my extensive experience in writing, editing and reviewing scientific texts to work as a proofreader.
SUBTITLING
Subtitling is one of the services I can offer and enjoy doing. I have trained in subtitling in Imperial College London and worked for translation agencies specialised in subtitling using their proprietary software. I am also familiar with the softwares Aegisub and Gnome Subtitles.
I also have experience in the voluntary and charity sectors as well as the construction industry.
