Simone Visentin (he/him) is a multilingual localization expert, entrepreneur, and leader in the media and translation industries.

Simone came to Canada in 2014 as an international student and has built a thriving career by connecting diverse communities and cultures. Having lived in Mexico, Italy, and Canada, Simone brings four languages and a unique multicultural perspective to his work.

As the founder of VISOR Language Services, Simone provides specialized translation and localization services, curating multilingual content for global audiences.

In 2022, he furthered his professional expertise through a Master’s in Technical Communication & Localization at the University of Strasbourg, where he was recognized in 2024 with the prestigious GALA (Globalization and Localization Association) Rising Star Scholarship which features the work of one student from translation and localization programs around the world at the most important conference in the industry.

Simone is also a member of the MCIS (Multilingual Community Interpreters Services) Language Solutions’ Committee for Social Purpose, Governance, and Nominations, where he advocates for language access and inclusivity in marginalized communities.
