1999 Secretary/Spanish Translator. Provided administrative support to the Director and nine staff members. Composed, edited and proofread internal and external communi-cations including: memos, letters, reprinted forms, and others. Occasionally translated, edited and proofread publications into Spanish. 1992 Public/Consumer Affairs Technician. Represented the agency in response to Media (print, radio, and TV), health professional and consumer inquiries, prepared and translated documents to be disseminated among the Hispanic Media in the New York area such as Press Releases, Public Service Announcements, etc. Several columns were published in newspapers not only in the NY Metropolitan area, but also throughout Latin America (See Outstanding Achievements). 1986 - Bachelors’ Degree in Bilingual Secretarial Sciences, Minor in Word Processing – University of the Sacred Heart, Santurce, Puerto Rico.

 Educated in both Puerto Rico and the US.
