German to English: Auction notification press release General field: Marketing Detailed field: Advertising / Public Relations
Translation - English XXX's London auction house will be handling the sale of the gallery's design inventory in a separate "One-Owner-Sale" (with its own catalogue) on October 25th.
The increasing demand from private and institutional collectors for high quality design objects and the small supply of fresh material to the market has stimulated the prices. As a result XXX expect a very interesting auction.
This will be perhaps one of the most significant auctions in the area of 20th Century Design. Many design objects to be auctioned have never before been put on the market, as they were intended for display in future exhibitions. Part of the gallery inventory was acquired directly from the artists or their estates.
