English to Arabic: Science and Poetry General field: Social Sciences
Source text - English Many People think that science and poetry are opposed to each other. If the former stands for imagination, the latter stands for the reasoning power of man. Imagination is very rarely linked with scientific invention. But these are wrong attitudes. Imagination is as necessary for poetry as the reasoning faculty is to the scientist. Great poetry is that in which feeling is blended with thought. Similarly, a great scientist must have a poet's imagination and vision which enable him to invent and discover.
