My translation experience goes back to 1987 while preparing my Masters' Degree at Baghdad University as I was responsible to translate Economic articles from the famous newspapers like Wall Street Journal and The Economist to other students in the class who were not proficient in English. I live in the United States since June, 2009. I attended a Basic Interpretation Course at the International Rescue Committee in Phoenix, AZ in 2009 and another Medical Interpretation Course at Phoenix Children Hospital in Phoenix, AZ in 2010.
I started to work as a professional translator since 2009 after I settled in the United States. I worked with CanTalk Canada as an on phone interpreter. I also worked at the Department of Economic Security/ Refugees Resettlement Program in Phoenix as a translator and interpreter.
I started my professional medical on-site interpreting job at Akorbi since August, 2015 till present. I am registered with other companies as a translator and interpreter like Indigon Language Services and Language Connection Services. |
