Source text - English You are being asked to participate in this research study because you have a condition called Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma or ATC. ATC is cancer that forms in the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is a part of the body located under the skin at the bottom of the throat. The thyroid makes substances called hormones which help control heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, and weight.
Your investigator may receive a more complete picture of your health as well as your social and mental state by your study participation. In addition, the study investigations and monitoring may improve your healthcare. However, there is no guarantee that you will receive a medical benefit from participating in this study.
The most common side effects observed to date include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, somnolence (being sleepy or drowsy), headache and asthenia (loss of energy or strength). There may also be other side effects which are not yet known.
