Fuel tank: Basically a holding tank for your fuel. When you fill up at a gas station the gas travels down the filler tube and into the tank. In the tank there is a sending unit, which tells the gas gauge how much gas is in the tank.
Fuel pump: On newer cars the fuel pump is usually installed in the fuel tank. Older cars have the fuel pump attached to the engine or on the frame rail between the tank and the engine. If the pump is in the tank or on the frame rail then it is electric and is run by your cars battery. Fuel pumps mounted to the engine use the motion of the engine to pump the fuel
Fuel filter: Clean fuel is critical to engine life and performance. Fuel injectors have tiny openings, which clog easily so filtering the fuel is the only way to prevent this. Filters can be before or after the fuel pump, sometimes both.
Fuel injectors: Most domestic cars after 1986 and earlier foreign cars came from the factory with fuel injection. Instead of a carburetor to mix the fuel and air, a computer controls when the fuel injectors open to let fuel into the engine. This has resulted in lower emissions and better fuel economy. The fuel injector is basically a tiny electric valve, which opens and closes with an electric signal. In the picture below you can see the injectors towards the outer part of the intake. By injecting the fuel close to the cylinder head the fuel stays atomized ( in tiny particles ) so it will burn better when ignited by the spark plug.
Carburetors: A carburetor takes the fuel and mixes it with air without computer intervention. While simple in operation, they tend to need frequent tuning and rebuilding. This is why most newer cars have done away with carburetors in favor of fuel injection.

Borehole wall instability is a very complicated problem encountered in the drilling process, where the hydration of mud shale remains one of the major causes leading to its instability. At present, little research has been conducted to quantitatively analyze the hydration of mud shale. This paper proposes a quantitative computation model for the hydration stress in an exploratory manner by combining the diffuse double-layer theory. In addition, the paper discusses the influence of hydration stress on the pore pressure and geomechanical parameters of mud shale formation on the basis of mechanical analysis of borehole wall stability. According to the migration rules of aqueous solution in the formation near borehole wall combined with the basic equation of seepage flow in mud shale, the paper analyzes the influence of seepage field on the formation pore pressure and the borehole wall stability. Moreover, a system taking the influence of seepage field and hydration stress into consideration is established to evaluate the stability of mud shale borehole wall.

For the purpose of this Agreement,the following terms have the following meanings:

1.1 "Polypropylene Process" means the process for the production of Polypropylene (as defined in Paragraph 1.2) formed in the gas-phase in the presence of the Catalyst (as defined in Paragraph 1.4), commercially owned by JPP as of the Effective Date or of any other catalyst selected by CUSTOMER,but excluding processes for making any catalyst component, for production of monomers, or for conversion of Polypropylene to films, fiber, molded products or other formed articles.

1.4 "Catalyst" means the solid titanium-containing magnesium halide supported polymerization catalyst component which will be made available by Toho Titanium Co., Ltd.at Chigasaki, Kanagawa,Japan ("Toho") to CUSTOMER under its trade name "JHC" and “JHN” in accordance with the Supply Agreement (as defined in Paragraph 1.13) to be entered into between CUSTOMER and JPP according to the term sheet attached to this Agreement as Appendix 11.

1.5 "Field of Agreement” means:

1.7 "Technical Information" means (a) all technical information, know-how, and data with respect to subject matter within the Field of Agreement, whether patented or unpatented, which have been used commercially by JPP and would be useful for the design, engineering, construction, equipment procurement, start-up, testing, operation or maintenance of commercial plants for the practice of the Licensed Polypropylene Process to produce the Licensed Polypropylene Grades, as shall have been developed or acquired by JPP prior to the Effective Date (as defined below), and (b) such additional technical information, know-how, and data as shall have been developed or acquired by JPP or CUSTOMER, respectively, relating to operation or maintenance, whether patented or unpatented, as are used commercially after the Effective Date and prior to December 31, 2028in a plant operating the Licensed Polypropylene Process and are applicable to improving operations of the Licensed Plant relating to the Licensed Polypropylene Grades and that the respective party owns or controls in the sense of having the right to grant licenses thereunder. Such additional technical information, know-how, and data shall hereafter be referred to as "Improvements".

1.8 "Patent Rights" means patents and patent applications of all countries and licensable rights thereunder, owned or controlled by JPP, or CUSTOMER, respectively, in the sense of having the right to grant licenses thereunder, to the extent and only to the extent, that claims of such patents or patent applications cover the subject matter within the scope of Technical Information, which are based on inventions made prior to December 31, 2028.

1.9 "Licensed Plant" means the commercial plant of CUSTOMER for the practice of the Licensed Polypropylene Process which is shall be located inNingxia Hui Autonomous Region, China, using JPP's Technical Information, having two production lines having each an initial design output of Two Hundred Thousand (200,000)metric tons of Licensed Polypropylene Grades per Eight Thousand operating hours as described in Appendix 2 hereof, which includes the following sections:

1.10 "Effective Date" means the date of the approval of this Agreement by the National Development and Reforming Committee (“NDRC”).

1.11 “Start-Up Date” means for each of the 2 production lines of the Licensed Plant the date on which a total of two thousand (2,000) metric tons of Polypropylene suitable for commercial sale are first withdrawn from the respective production line. This date shall be confirmed by CUSTOMER and JPP to each other in writing.

1.13 "Supply Agreement" means the supply agreement that will be in accordance with the term sheet of Appendix 11for the supply of the Catalyst to CUSTOMER and separately entered into between CUSTOMER and JPP.

1.14 “Affiliate(s)” means with respect to a party, (a) parent company(ies) (if any) that own, directly or indirectly, at least 50% of that party, and (b) any other company that is at least 50% owned, directly or indirectly, by a party or by its parent company(ies) as set forth in item (a). With respect to the CUSTOMER, Affiliates shall include Affiliates of each of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation and Shenhua Ningxia Chemical Group. Affiliates shall not include (i) a controlling entity that is a sovereign state or a political subdivision or governmental authority of a sovereign state (a “Sovereign Entity”), or (ii) any entity that would be an Affiliate only due to being under common control of a Sovereign Entity;

WHEREAS, JPP has developed or acquired extensive technical information and knowhow relating to the manufacture of olefin polymers, especially gas-phase polymerization of propylene;

WHEREAS, JPP legally owns or controls the patent rights in certain countries relating to such technology and has the right to grant CUSTOMER the right and license to manufacture, use and sell the olefin polymers under such patent rights;

For the purpose of this Agreement,the following terms have the following meanings:

1.1 "Polypropylene Process" means the process for the production of Polypropylene (as defined in Paragraph 1.2) formed in the gas-phase in the presence of the Catalyst (as defined in Paragraph 1.4), commercially owned by JPP as of the Effective Date or of any other catalyst selected by CUSTOMER,but excluding processes for making any catalyst component, for production of monomers, or for conversion of Polypropylene to films, fiber, molded products or other formed articles.

1.2 "Polypropylene” means any and all of the following: (a) solid homopolymers of propylene; and (b) solid copolymers (random and impact) of propylene with up to thirtyweight percent (30 wt. %) of ethylene and/or other alpha-olefins.
1.2 “聚丙烯”指下列任一和所有项目:(a) 固体丙烯均聚物;以及 (b) 固体丙烯共聚物(随机碰撞),带最高百分之三十(重量比30%)的乙烯以及/或其他 α-烯烃。
1.3 "Licensed Polypropylene Grades" means the grades of Polypropylene identified in Appendix 2 of this Agreement.

1.4 "Catalyst" means the solid titanium-containing magnesium halide supported polymerization catalyst component which will be made available by Toho Titanium Co., Ltd.at Chigasaki, Kanagawa,Japan ("Toho") to CUSTOMER under its trade name "JHC" and “JHN” in accordance with the Supply Agreement (as defined in Paragraph 1.13) to be entered into between CUSTOMER and JPP according to the term sheet attached to this Agreement as Appendix 11.
1.4 “催化剂”指固体含钛支持卤化镁的聚合催化剂组分,将由位于日本神奈川茅崎的Toho Titanium Co., Ltd.("Toho") 依照客户和JPP将根据本协议附件11中的条款说明签订的供货协议(定义见第1.13条),使用 "JHC"和 “JHN”商品名向客户提供。
1.5 "Field of Agreement” means:

(b) The Catalyst system using the Catalyst as the major component and the method for preparation of such Catalyst system, to the extent used in carrying out the Polypropylene Process; but excluding any process for the manufacture of any such catalyst component;

(c) Any apparatus to the extent used for carrying out the Polypropylene Process;

(d) Formulations of Polypropylene produced by the Polypropylene Process containing less than two weight percent (2 wt.%)of stabilizers and additives which formulations are intended for use in conversion to films, fibers, molded products or other formed articles, together with processes and equipment useful in manufacturing such formulations.

1.6 "Licensed Polypropylene Process" means the Polypropylene Process based on the Catalyst system disclosed by JPP to CUSTOMER under this Agreement.

1.7 "Technical Information" means (a) all technical information, know-how, and data with respect to subject matter within the Field of Agreement, whether patented or unpatented, which have been used commercially by JPP and would be useful for the design, engineering, construction, equipment procurement, start-up, testing, operation or maintenance of commercial plants for the practice of the Licensed Polypropylene Process to produce the Licensed Polypropylene Grades, as shall have been developed or acquired by JPP prior to the Effective Date (as defined below), and (b) such additional technical information, know-how, and data as shall have been developed or acquired by JPP or CUSTOMER, respectively, relating to operation or maintenance, whether patented or unpatented, as are used commercially after the Effective Date and prior to December 31, 2028in a plant operating the Licensed Polypropylene Process and are applicable to improving operations of the Licensed Plant relating to the Licensed Polypropylene Grades and that the respective party owns or controls in the sense of having the right to grant licenses thereunder. Such additional technical information, know-how, and data shall hereafter be referred to as "Improvements".
1.7 “技术信息”是指 (a)JPP在协议生效日期(定义见下文)前已经开发或获得,与协议领域内的标的有关的所有技术信息、专有技术和数据,无论是否已获得专利,且已由JPP用于商业用途,有助于为了运用所许可的聚丙烯工艺生产所许可的聚丙烯级别而需要的商业化厂房的设计、工程设计、建造、设备采购、启动、测试、运营或维护;以及 (b) JPP或 客户已经分别开发或获得的、与运行或维护有关的此类其他技术信息、专有技术和数据,无论是否已获得专利,且此类信息在协议生效日期之后和2028年12月31日之前已经在商业上运用于运行所许可的聚丙烯工艺的装置,能够改进与所许可的聚丙烯级别有关的所许可厂房的运行,且从拥有据此授予许可的权利的角度来说,协议各方拥有此类信息的所有权或控制权。此类其他技术信息、专有技术和数据在下文简称为“改进”。
1.8 "Patent Rights" means patents and patent applications of all countries and licensable rights thereunder, owned or controlled by JPP, or CUSTOMER, respectively, in the sense of having the right to grant licenses thereunder, to the extent and only to the extent, that claims of such patents or patent applications cover the subject matter within the scope of Technical Information, which are based on inventions made prior to December 31, 2028.
1.8 “专利权”指从拥有据此授予许可的权利的角度来说,由JPP或 客户分别拥有或控制的、位于所有国家的专利和专利申请以及据此可进行许可的权利,前提是此类专利或专利申请的主张涵盖“技术信息”范围中的标的,而“技术信息”以2028年12月31日之前提交的发明为基础。
1.9 "Licensed Plant" means the commercial plant of CUSTOMER for the practice of the Licensed Polypropylene Process which is shall be located inNingxia Hui Autonomous Region, China, using JPP's Technical Information, having two production lines having each an initial design output of Two Hundred Thousand (200,000)metric tons of Licensed Polypropylene Grades per Eight Thousand operating hours as described in Appendix 2 hereof, which includes the following sections:
1.9 “所许可厂房”指客户用于执行所许可的聚丙烯工艺所需的商业厂房,该厂房应位于中国宁夏回族自治区,使用JPP的技术信息,包括两条生产线,每条生产线的初始设计输出为每运行八千个小时生产二十万 (200,000) 公吨所许可的聚丙烯级别,具体见本协议附录2,包括下列部分:
1.10 "Effective Date" means the date of the approval of this Agreement by the National Development and Reforming Committee (“NDRC”).

1.11 “Start-Up Date” means for each of the 2 production lines of the Licensed Plant the date on which a total of two thousand (2,000) metric tons of Polypropylene suitable for commercial sale are first withdrawn from the respective production line. This date shall be confirmed by CUSTOMER and JPP to each other in writing.

1.12 "Acceptance Date" means the date on which the Performance Test has been completed in accordance with Article 6 and Article 7 of this Agreement. This date shall be confirmed in writing by the parties in accordance with Paragraph 7.5 of this Agreement.

1.13 "Supply Agreement" means the supply agreement that will be in accordance with the term sheet of Appendix 11for the supply of the Catalyst to CUSTOMER and separately entered into between CUSTOMER and JPP.

1.14 “Affiliate(s)” means with respect to a party, (a) parent company(ies) (if any) that own, directly or indirectly, at least 50% of that party, and (b) any other company that is at least 50% owned, directly or indirectly, by a party or by its parent company(ies) as set forth in item (a). With respect to the CUSTOMER, Affiliates shall include Affiliates of each of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation and Shenhua Ningxia Chemical Group. Affiliates shall not include (i) a controlling entity that is a sovereign state or a political subdivision or governmental authority of a sovereign state (a “Sovereign Entity”), or (ii) any entity that would be an Affiliate only due to being under common control of a Sovereign Entity;
