I have personally traveled abroad to both Colombia as well as Guatemala to assist in bringing legal documents for adoption of infants back in 1981 & 1986. I went to the counselates in New York first to obtain these documents for signature from the adoptive parents in the states, then I went to these countries to bring the stamped documents to the embassies. After the natural parents of these children signed the documents,I proceeded to care for these infants on the airplane from the departure of these countries, until the arrival at the JFK airport in New York. At the point of immigration, the adoptive parents were able to see and pick up their new arriving adoptive infant with bright smiles on their faces. |
