Hello,
I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and I have been living in San Diego, CA for the past eleven years. I am a Localization Software Quality Assurance Tester.
I have an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science in Travel and Tourism Management. I have also graduated from a Professional Certificate Program in Marketing from UCSD. I have experience with legal translations achieved during my academic period. I gained experience with business related translations through helping Brazilian clients communicate with their customers and providers in English spoken countries.
Lately, I have been working mostly as a QA tester. I recently completed an assignment for one of the major analytic solutions companies in the US, I performed functionality, regression, release acceptance, GUI and usability testing tested all areas of the software affected by localization, including software usability for the Brazilian market, cosmetic and linguistic issues.
This was the second time, in the past 6 months, that I have done QA testing for this company. Currently I am working on testing mobile applications for iPhone and Android.
My interest in Software Quality Assurance grew and I am so passionate about it that I have decided to, temporally, relocate to Mountain View, CA (Silicon Valley) to work towards my specialization.
I am very familiar with the American business etiquette and the American culture.
I am a Charter Member of the National Language Service Corps (NLSC).
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need additional references.
Best regards,
