English to Russian: Traditional Design Methods for Pressure Hulls
Source text - English Traditional pressure hull design methods are deterministic in nature, and are based on classical elastic buckling and stress calculations.
The strength-reducing effects – geometric imperfections, residual stresses, boundary conditions, etc. – are dealt with differently for interframe and overall collapse.
Interframe collapse is predicted using empirical design curves, which inherently take the collapse mechanisms and fabrication processes of real pressure hulls into account.
Analytical methods that account for geometric imperfections and residual stresses are used to calculate overall collapse pressures, based on the occurrence of first yield (Py) or by using the full elastoplastic strength of the structure (Pco).

Подход к явлениям, обуславливающим снижение прочности (искажения геометрической формы, остаточные деформации, граничные условия и т. д.), для случая потери устойчивости между шпангоутами отличается от подхода, применяемого к случаю общей потери устойчивости.
Оценка потери устойчивости между шпангоутами выполняется по эмпирическим расчетным зависимостям, в которых учитываются закономерности деформирования и процессы постройки существующих прочных корпусов.
Аналитические методы, в которых учитываются геометрические искажения и остаточные деформации, применяются для определения значений давления общей потери устойчивости по наступлению нижнего предела текучести (Py) или через сопротивление всей конструкции упругопластическому деформированию (Pco).
