Source text - English 1. Scheme – Depending on the number of keys available on your XXX System, similar keys can be grouped into a scheme. Figure 2 displays an Applications scheme where both the user programmable keys and non-programmable keys launch applications. Another scheme may correspond with the operation of the CD Player (play, pause, review, forward) application included in your Operating System.
2. Programmable Keys – Depending on your XXX System and the number of buttons available, some of the keys will be programmable. The last two keys are designated Programmable Keys in figure 2. Through the User Interface the user can specify the application launched or URL accessed when this button is depressed. Choose which button you would like to program by moving the mouse over the text to the left of the picture on the User Interface. See which button changes color when the mouse hovers on the text to its left. Click on the text and the Configure Programmable Button box will open (see figure 3 below).
