Hi all,
Seeing as the National Eisteddfod will be in Abergavenny around the time of the next Powwow, it probably makes sense to combine then. Some of us have never been and are keen to go and see what it's all about. The weather looks OK too so hopefully it'll be a nice day in the sun. For those who don't know, the Eisteddfod is an annual celebration of Welsh culture and language, including literature, poetry, talks, music, theatre, food, drink, stalls etc.
See the website below for more information:

And below for ticket information:

So it appears general admission tickets are £20 but this excludes certain things such as Maes B (the Welsh music festival). Tickets can be purchased on entry or for a minor saving via the website.
I'm thinking a leisurely 11:00 to meet inside near the entrance. But people will most likely turn up at different times so let's keep in touch on the day.
Transport options are direct trains from Newport, Cardiff and Swansea but some may be driving so lift sharing might be an option.
Post here if you have any questions. If anyone has more Eisteddfod experience, feel free to suggest ideas of what to see and do there.
Wela i chi yno!
See you there!
P.S. I am aware that the Powwow is listed as being in Cardiff but I can't change it now!
