I wonder if anyone could help here - I have already submitted 2 support requests regarding this, but not received any reply yet (it's a week from the last try)...
This (info@proz.com) is the e-mail address given on the site for submitting files (like your photo) by e-mail to Proz.com, in a case when you are for some reason unable to submit your file online (as I was - I'm not even sure why, as the photo I was trying to
send was well within the maximum limits set

Here is the error message I got after sending my e-mail (to info@proz.com):
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es)
failed:
info@proz.com
LMTP error after RCPT TO:: 550-Mailbox unknown.
Either there is no mailbox associated with this 550-name or you do not have authorization to see it.
550 5.1.1 User unknown
If this address is really 'unknown', I think in that case it should be removed from the site... Does anyone possibly know anything about this, or anything else that might help...? ▲ Collapse

That information is probably outdated - I suggest you submit a support request (also pointing out the incorrect contact info given).

...thing is, I've seen numerous cases where members said they submitted a support request, but had, in fact, sent an e-mail... this doesn't seem to be the case here, though.
I'll touch base with ProZ.com.

Yes, I had indeed submitted 'real' support requests! Thank you for looking into this. Of course, this is hardly a matter of life and death , but the whole thing is starting to seem quite mysterious to me...
(I'm even beginning to wonder if my support requests ever got through, otherwise why haven't I received any response - as that's not what I would expect from proz.com!)

I have removed the info@ address from the upload page, as it is no longer used. I will write to you separately to ask you to send me the photo file that would not go through.
