Nothing is moving on ProZ today. The forums are dead. KudoZ seems to be on hold since yesterday. I get job notifications, but when clicking on the job link, an error page is shown stating that no job with that id could be found.

so you are going to implement the new site onto the old one while it is live? Is this best practice or aren't there just better ways?
I suppose designing a new website or revamping an old one is a huge task, but at least since last year I've seen repeated the phrase ‘our systems team is now working to have it solved as soon as possible’, although this time the adverb ‘diligently’ has been added.

I agree. I also haven't seen any specific publishing date yet (I could have missed it). When will the new website go live? Is there a specific time frame or is it just a "somewhere in the future and nobody knows when that future will come" thing?

I started having problems using the site a couple of years ago... I think it started in 2022.
Any ‘agree’ that colleagues gave me, I didn't receive the corresponding notifications. This was only resolved when there were more user complaints.
I consider myself patient and understanding, but I think this is starting to get beyond anyone's limits.

And what's worse: not only does it affect communication between colleagues, but it also jeopardises any other communication, especially with potential clients.
Perhaps it would be better if Proz gave us a date for the new site.
I don't know anything about programming, but does the revamping of a website involve all these problems (bugs) that last for years?
Thanks.

I think this new site is already implemented onto the old one. Look up the text under your profile icon. "Switch back to the old homepage."
It's been years since it was implemented.
And what about the ProZ App? I still can't open it or download it on my Android phone. Why?

That's an old feature that's got nothing to do with the new website.

No, it didn't work.
I know how to work with the site enough to know when it doesn't due to my ignorance. That wasn't the case.
A few months ago, colleagues and I, we couldn't log in to the site and I also received such responses. I don't even know if this was fixed or not...
I know that any response is meant to help and I really appreciate it, but I can't help but get a little annoyed when I'm given alternatives for cases that have nothing to do with my clumsiness on the site and when the problems are technical on the site's part.
Do not get me wrong please. I think I'm getting a bit tired of these bugs and it seems that when one appears it's always new and more serious.
