I don't eat at my desk, but I do drink one or two espresso coffees. My cup of coffee has a special place on a bookshelf near me but away from my desk to avoid disasters like this:

My desk is not my kitchen/dining room, and snacks or sandwiches are not food.
How sad would I feel if I had to. As a French man, meals are central to, err... life, and as a freelancer, I'd be damned if I couldn't fit the world-renowned one-hourish break sitting, talking and eating in my schedule.
