Becherovka meets "Äpppler" Alison and I welcome you all

for the host P a v e l for his hospitality, patience and initiative. The Prague taxi business will host a special event to honor his business these past two days.

It was a wonderful meeting and it was especially wonderful to meet new colleagues across the borders. We had the greatest trip. It started with a spectacular vehicle break-down in the tunnel, dangerous situations next to roaring traffic, trucks and all included, spiced up by sound signals with hidden meanings which were explained later on by the two especially effective and over-achieving police officers kindly escorting us to the gas station following the tunnel. after a long conversation, which the Hesse resident would describe "doodgebabbelt", we were let off the hook, saving 4 000 "crowns" each, half of which was taken out of Pavels wallet Saturday night in a never-come-back-to-the-party-attempt.

patiently we were shown back to our cars, including mattresses and luggage, tea and cookies, not on our backs ;-) though, thank god. Five hours later we touched home, filled with the lingering feeling of a wonderful weekend. Thank you, Pavel!

and thank you again for a very nice pre-powwow and main powwow! I really enjoyed meeting again and also to make new friends among the Czech colleagues. And a special thank goes to Hynek for the great pictures which will be forwarded to the relevant authorities in order to proof that I did attend a professional networking event. I'm eager to see more photos from other paparazzi ;-) who were roving around.

René, I am glad the alibi worked. I will testify you were there the whole night and there were no girls sitting on your lap.

I hope to be able to post some snaps too - as soon as I fetch my camera (I left behind on the table leaving the pub) from Pavel. It was a pleasure to meet all of you.

Thanks Hynek for the pictures, I like them a lot. I showed them to my whole family already, so my little daughter Vera (2 years young) now knows quite well, why Papa (we speak mainly Russian with her) wasn't at home yesterday evening.
