Nothing. Enjoying the Christmas and New Year holiday and looking forward to hearing from you in 2023. (Well, not exactly nothing: there is homework for an advanced course of English-to-Czech literary translation, plus a lot of research around a book I hope to translate from English to Czech and get published – but that's more of a pleasure than work, isn't it?)
(edited) Proofreading information panels for a nature trail around a set of ponds and canals at a location in the Czech Republic. Learning a lot about how ponds are built and how to breed carp fish. Btw, did you know that carp (with potato salad) is the traditional Czech Xmas dish?

Warming up for 2022 with a couple of small projects (law, literature). Ready for more. (edited) Nothing. Enjoying the Xmas and New Year holiday. Looking forward to hearing from you in 2022. 1 user Translating a set of contracts from English to Czech for a global food processing company. Working with surgical precision, because in the next step, the contracts will be translated into Slovak from my Czech translation. Just launched: my translation of a book from Slovak to Czech. It has a bit of everything: fun, travel, info about culture and geography. Want to learn about Norway? Read my Slovak-to-Czech translation. Really. Plus I work on an ongoing project: English-to-Czech translation of client letter templates for a large multinational financial company. Everything from quotations to complaints. (edited) Just finished a book from Slovak to Czech. The original was a bestseller on the Slovak market. Wish it luck on the Czech Xmas market! 1 user |
